Part 1Executive Summary
The results page is built around one thing: an instant verdict on an account. Three of the top four results are r/ShadowBan threads whose only useful content is an AutoModerator link that returns the account's status. The only standalone tools that rank (ayra.ch at 8, the archived GitHub tool at 6) are thin and dated, and the AI overview cites five tool pages from Reddit-marketing sites that pair a username form with a short explanation of what the result means and how a shadowban differs from a suspension or a removed post. Nobody on page one combines a working, trustworthy tool with that explanation and a clear "now what". That gap is the page.
The page leads with the tool, then tells the reader what the result means, lets them confirm it by hand, tells them how to appeal and what the realistic odds are, and explains why it happened and how to keep the next account out of trouble. Every negative the searchers already carry (appeals are slow and uncertain, a new account from the same device gets linked, alts can be swept in) is handled as a salesperson handles an objection: a real answer that leaves the reader able to decide, with the site's replacement accounts as the natural plan B rather than a pitch. Length sits well under the agency guides: about 1,300 words, dense, in the shape the tool lane's pages already use.
Part 2SERP & Lane Analysis
The SERP is mixed in form but concentrated in intent. Google fills it with places where a person can get a verdict on their account (r/ShadowBan bot threads, standalone testers, an API), then pads it with community threads about living with a shadowban (NewToReddit, Quora, HN, Unity, BHW) and agency guides that teach the checks and sell a service around them (Soar, Lookstars, Chameleon Mode). The AI overview sits on top and is itself a mini checker guide: the appeals-page test, the incognito test, and the three states. The strongest signal is that the top four slots go to pages whose whole value is "click here and a bot tells you": the searcher wants the answer, not an article.
Lane Distribution
| Lane | Count | Typical Positions | Representative Competitors | What this lane is doing for the searcher |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Community bot-check threads (educational / experience) | 7 | 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 17 | r/ShadowBan ×3, r/NewToReddit ×2, Quora, r/reddittutorials | Gives an instant verdict through the r/ShadowBan bot, plus peer tips on the logged-out check and appealing |
| Checker tools (provider) | 3 (+5 AI-overview citations) | 6, 8, 10 | cable.ayra.ch, github.com/skeeto, apify.com; redship.io, oneup.today, goglobal.to, redditapis.com, auditsocials.com (cited) | A username form that returns shadowbanned / normal / not found; the cited pages add a short FAQ on what the result means |
| Agency and marketer guides (educational, with a pitch) | 4 | 3, 11, 14, 16 | soar.sh, lookstarsagency.com, findnerd.com, chameleonmode.com | Teaches the three checks, separates shadowban from removals, covers causes, appeal odds and prevention, then sells a service |
| Operator forum threads (educational / experience) | 3 | 12, 13, 15 | blackhatworld.com, news.ycombinator.com, discussions.unity.com | Lived experience of causes: IP changes, removed comments on new accounts, CQS, false positives |
The page's lane: Checker tools, provider type. The site has a free checker to offer, which puts it in the lane Google already fills with the r/ShadowBan bot and the testers, and the lane the AI overview cites most. The page takes the explanatory parts from the agency guides at the depth the tool pages' FAQs give them, not the depth Soar gives them.

Direct competitors table
| Position | Competitor | Lane | Why they matter |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | cable.ayra.ch | Checker tool | The only live standalone tester on page one; shows a form, a bulk option and nothing else ranks a tool |
| 6 | github.com/skeeto | Checker tool | Archived, yet ranks on the readme alone: the lane is under-served and the result vocabulary matters |
| 10 | apify.com | Checker tool (API) | Shows the developer/bulk sub-intent exists; not our head |
| AI overview | redship.io, oneup.today, goglobal.to, redditapis.com, auditsocials.com | Checker tool | The shape Google cites: tool + "how does this detect a shadowban" + shadowban vs suspension vs removed post FAQ |
| 3 | soar.sh | Agency guide (borrow) | The three independent checks, the states table, honest appeal odds |
| 11 | lookstarsagency.com | Agency guide (borrow) | The four invisible states when the account is clear but posts vanish |
What this means for the page
The dominant lane by position is the r/ShadowBan bot, which is a checker in a thread. The standalone tool lane ranks with almost no content, which says the tool itself resolves most of the head; the AI overview's choice of tool pages with short FAQs says what a satisfying tool page adds around the form. The SERP is mixed in page kind but every page that ranks well either delivers a verdict or teaches how to get one.
The agency guides reveal what the verdict leaves open: what the result means, whether the account is banned or just filtered, how to appeal and with what odds, why it happened, and whether to start over. Those are the parts our page borrows, each at FAQ depth, not guide depth. The operator threads reveal the concerns people arrive with (IP, new accounts, false positives, alts) that the page should answer without expanding into multi-account tutorials.
So the page to build is a working checker first, with a compact set of resolutions underneath that no ranking tool page carries, written so a person who is told "shadowbanned" leaves knowing what to do, and sees the site's accounts as the sensible fallback.
Part 3Head Keyword & Tail Keyword Clusters
Head term
- Head: reddit shadowban checker
- Dominant lane: Checker tools, with the r/ShadowBan bot threads doing the same job inside Reddit. The head wants a verdict delivered by a tool.
- SERP intent shape: Mixed, leaning "do": the searcher wants to run a check now; the educational results exist because the checks alone leave "what does it mean" and "now what" open.
The head family
- reddit shadowban checker: the head; the tool
- reddit shadowban test: the same tool named by what it does; Soar's and AyrA's word
- reddit shadowban tester: AyrA's H1; same thing
- reddit shadowban check: the act the tool performs; Lookstars' title; reads as the same search from a person who wants to run one (research called it a tail; the words mean the same thing)
- reddit shadowbanned checker: a spelling variant of the head
- online reddit shadowban test: the head with "online", which changes nothing (research filed it under a page's promo passage; it is a name)
- shadowban checker reddit: word order
None of these gets a passage; they are the words of the title, H1, H2s and body.
The head's searcher intent
The person typing this has an account that seems to have gone quiet, or has one in front of them that they need to vet, and they want a yes or no. Most are checking their own account: comments sit at one upvote, nobody replies, a post never showed up in the subreddit, or a friend said "I can't see your profile". Many have already heard of r/ShadowBan or tried a tool that broke. They want to type a username and get a verdict without logging in or posting anywhere. A meaningful minority are checking an account that is not theirs: a buyer confirming a purchased account on delivery, a seller checking inventory, a moderator or a friend looking up a user who vanished. For them, "any username" and "no login" are the point.
Once the verdict is in, the search is not done. A clear result raises "then why are my posts invisible?", and the page needs to separate a sitewide shadowban from a suspension, a subreddit ban, an AutoMod or spam-filter removal, and karma gates. A positive result raises "how long does this last, how do I get it removed, can I recover, and should I just start a new account?", with the fears the operator threads show: appeals ignored, new accounts banned within hours, alts dragged down, bans with no apparent reason. They also want a short, honest "why": VPN or datacenter IPs, shared IPs across accounts, a removed post on a new account, link bursts. They want to be able to confirm the verdict themselves, because the tools they have met are unreliable.
What they do not come for: how to configure an antidetect browser, proxy strategy for running fleets, warm-up schedules, CQS mechanics in depth, promotion strategy for OnlyFans or brands, karma-building plans, Quora or Instagram shadowbans, or a developer API. Those are heads next door, and the page leaves them to their own pages.

Part 4The Centroid Pattern
Pattern summary
The pages that win deliver a verdict with the least friction. The r/ShadowBan threads at 1, 2 and 4 are nothing but an AutoModerator link; the AyrA form at 8 and the archived GitHub readme at 6 rank with almost no words. Google has learned that the searcher of this head is satisfied by an answer, not an explanation, and the tool-lane pages it cites in the AI overview show what the answer is wrapped in: a username field, a line on how the detection works (a logged-out view of the profile), a result vocabulary (shadowbanned, suspended, not found, fine), and a short FAQ that tells a shadowban from a suspension and from a removed post.
The second thing the strongest pages do is make the verdict trustworthy. Soar's three independent checks, the AI overview's incognito and appeal-page tests, NewToReddit's "look from another account": the searcher has met broken tools and wants to be able to confirm the result by hand. The third is the "now what": appeal path, realistic odds, whether to start again. Soar resolves this best and ranks third despite being written for brand teams; the bot threads leave it as links.
Lane contribution to the winning pattern
The bot-check and tool lanes set the shape: the check is the page, and everything else is secondary. The agency-guide lane supplies the resolutions a tool page lacks: the states table, the causes list, the appeal realism, the "don't make a new account on the same browser" warning. The operator forums supply the concerns to answer in a line each: IP changes, new accounts, false positives, alts. The page borrows the resolutions and the concerns, never the length or the pitch.
Pattern variance
Two approaches rank: bare tools and long guides. Nothing in between exists, and the AI overview's citations show Google already prefers the in-between when it finds it. The page should follow the tool pattern tightly for its top half and take the guide material in a compact form below, each part at the depth a tool page's FAQ gives it.
What's notably absent
No ranking page combines a working tool with trustworthy explanation. No page addresses the person checking an account they are about to buy or just received. No page gives a clean "if the appeal fails, here is a sane next step" without either selling a browser or telling the reader to use Tor. Long prevention protocols, warm-up schedules and CQS mechanics appear only in the guides and get no PAA or AI overview weight.
Direct same-lane breakdown
| Competitor | Rank | Pattern notes |
|---|---|---|
| cable.ayra.ch | 8 | H1, one intro line, username + token form, bulk link, API link, end-of-service notice. No result explanation, no definition, no next step. Ranks because it works. |
| github.com/skeeto | 6 | Readme: link to the tool, two-paragraph definition from the moderator's view, three result states. Archived, eight years stale, still ranks: the lane is thin. |
| apify.com | 10 | API docs. A developer sub-intent, not the head. |

Quiet account, wants a verdict now
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Evidence | r/ShadowBan threads at 1, 2, 4; r/NewToReddit at 5 and 9; PAA "How do I know if I am shadowbanned"; AI overview's two tests; tails "am i shadowbanned reddit", "how to check if you are shadowbanned on reddit", "signs of reddit shadowban" |
| Why this is a distinct situation | The only thing standing between this reader and satisfaction is a yes/no; everything else on the page is for after the answer |
| What this reader is trying to resolve | Is my account shadowbanned, and can I trust the answer without posting somewhere or asking a friend to look |
Knowledge level: low; often new to Reddit, often on a phone. Urgency: high. Top objection: tools that gave nothing or were dead (GitHub archive, snoopsnoo).
Clear result, posts still invisible
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Evidence | AI overview "Removed Post" state; lookstarsagency.com (11) four invisible states table; soar.sh (3) two diagnostic shortcuts and CQS section; r/ShadowBan bot's "I'm not shadowbanned so why is my post not showing" link; tails "why are my reddit posts not showing", "can subreddit shadowban you", "reddit comment removed by moderator not shadowban" |
| Why this is a distinct situation | The reader's problem survived the check; they need a different diagnosis, not a repeat of the verdict |
| What this reader is trying to resolve | If I'm not shadowbanned, what is hiding my posts, how do I confirm which it is, and where does the fix live |
Shadowbanned, deciding what to do
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Evidence | PAA "How long" and "How to remove"; soar.sh recovery section and appeal odds; chameleonmode.com (16) appeal form and "don't make a new account on the same browser"; r/ShadowBan rank 2 "repeat the appeal"; HN (13) appeals ignored and false positives; tails "how to appeal a reddit shadowban", "can you recover", "create new reddit account after shadowban", "does a shadowban affect alt accounts reddit" |
| Why this is a distinct situation | This reader has a positive result and faces a decision with uncertain odds; the page's objection handling lives here |
| What this reader is trying to resolve | How to appeal and what to say, how long to wait, whether it will work, and whether starting fresh is safe or gets the new account linked and banned |
Top objection: "appeals go nowhere and new accounts get banned within hours". Alternatives weighed: appeal and wait; make a new account; buy an established one. Urgency: moderate to high if the account earns or promotes.
Promotional account down (brand, agency, marketer, creator)
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Evidence | soar.sh (3) written entirely for brand teams; lookstarsagency.com (11) for OnlyFans creators; chameleonmode.com (16) for agencies; video results aimed at GTM and creators; tails "what causes a reddit shadowban" (shared IP, link patterns, bursts), "does reddit ban brand accounts" (adjacent) |
| Why this is a distinct situation | The check is often run for someone else and has a business cost; this reader needs a cause they can explain and a recover-vs-replace call, fast |
| What this reader is trying to resolve | Confirm the account is dead, understand which of our habits triggered it, decide whether to spend weeks on an appeal or stand up a clean account, and not repeat the trigger |
Knowledge level: medium. Alternatives weighed: agency help, antidetect tooling, established accounts.
Checking an account that isn't mine
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Evidence | "Enter any username" framing on every cited tool; cable.ayra.ch (8) "test multiple accounts"; r/NewToReddit (5) "other people can view your profile, you cannot see this yourself"; tail "how to see if someone is shadowbanned on reddit" |
| Why this is a distinct situation | The r/ShadowBan bot cannot serve this reader at all: it checks the poster's account only; a username-based tool is the only option |
| What this reader is trying to resolve | Is this specific account (one I bought or am about to buy, one I sell, one in my modqueue, a user who vanished) shadowbanned, with a result I can screenshot and rely on; sometimes several accounts at once |
Top objection: whether the result is trustworthy enough to settle a dispute within a replacement window.
Part 6Page Charter
| Field | Detail |
|---|---|
| Target lane | Checker tools (provider): a free, no-login Reddit shadowban checker with the explanation the tool lane's pages lack |
| The site | A provider site selling Reddit accounts and engagement services. Its authority is in account health: it checks accounts for a living. That makes the free checker a credible proof of competence, lets "check an account that isn't yours" be served honestly (buyers verify delivery with the same tool the site uses), and makes an established replacement account the natural plan B when an appeal fails. It also means the page must not read as a sales page: the sale is hidden inside honest next-step advice. |
| Intent profile | Primary: get a verdict on a Reddit username now. Secondary: read the verdict correctly (shadowban vs suspension vs removal), confirm it by hand, know what to do if positive, know why and how to avoid a repeat |
| Page job | Tell the reader in seconds whether a Reddit account is shadowbanned, and leave them knowing what the result means and what to do next |
| Positioning frame | A working tool from people who check accounts every day, with the honesty of the best guide and none of its length; feels like a utility with a knowledgeable note underneath, not an article with a form bolted on |
| Success action | Run the check. For a positive result, follow the appeal steps and, if the account can't be recovered or can't be waited on, view the site's established accounts; for buyers, verify a delivered account |
| Constraints | Not a 2,500-word brand or creator guide; not an antidetect or proxy tutorial; not a CQS explainer; not a warm-up protocol; no API docs; no evasion advice; no stacking of concerns the searcher didn't bring; no hiding of the concerns they did bring (appeal odds, linked accounts) |
Why this charter fits the SERP
Google puts the instant check first and the explanation second, and cites tool pages that carry a compact FAQ when it needs the explanation. This charter builds exactly that object and adds the two resolutions the SERP leaves open: a trustworthy verdict on any username, and an honest, decidable "now what". The site's offer sits where the searcher's own question leads (what if the appeal fails, what if I need a working account this week), handled the way a good salesperson handles the objection "won't a new account just get banned too": with the real answer.

Section 1: The checker
- Job: Deliver the verdict. This is the head resolved, and it sits first because the searcher came for it and nothing below is useful until they have it.
- Heading options: H1 as above; a sub-line under it rather than an H2. Result legend heading: "What the result means" / "Reading your shadowban test result".
- Build: Hero block with the H1, a one-line description, then the form: a text field that accepts a single username or several usernames one per line, a Check button, and a results panel that appears under the form showing, per username, one of four states with a one-line explanation and a timestamp (so a buyer can screenshot it). Below the panel, a compact legend of the four states. No login, no token, no email capture. Keep the panel's words full sentences, since the words are what Google reads.
| # | Tail | Resolution | Coverage | Form | Words |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | am i shadowbanned reddit | A verdict on my account | Type a Reddit username and get its status in seconds: shadowbanned, suspended, not found, or visible. No login, nothing to post, works on your own account or anyone's. | Line under the H1 | 30 |
| 2 | how to see if someone is shadowbanned on reddit | Check another person's account without their login | The checker looks at the profile the way a logged-out visitor sees it, which is the only view a shadowban changes, so any public username can be checked: an account you bought or are about to buy, one you sell, a user in your modqueue, someone who disappeared. The account's owner doesn't need to do anything, and you can paste several usernames at once. | Paragraph beside or below the form | 55 |
| 3 | how to check if you are shadowbanned on reddit | Know how the check works so the result can be trusted | What the tool does: it requests the public profile without a session and compares what comes back with what a normal account returns. A profile that returns "not found" to the public while the owner can still log in and post is the signature of a shadowban; the checker also reports whether the account's recent posts are publicly visible, since Reddit's spam systems can hide posts while the profile still shows. | Paragraph | 65 |
| 4 | how to check if you are shadowbanned on reddit | Read the result correctly | The four results and what each means for the person reading it: shadowbanned (profile invisible to the public, owner sees everything normally, posts hidden sitewide); suspended (Reddit shows a suspension notice on the profile and told the owner, which is not a shadowban); not found (the username is misspelled, deleted, or never existed, so check the spelling first); visible (profile and recent posts load for the public, so a visibility problem lies with a subreddit or filter, covered below). | Legend: four labelled rows | 80 |
Section 2: What a shadowban is and what it looks like
- Job: Give the reader the frame to understand their result: what the ban is, the signs they probably noticed, and how it differs from the other things that hide content. Sits after the tool because a person with a result in hand now wants to know what it means.
- Heading options: "What a Reddit shadowban is (and what it isn't)" / "What a shadowban on Reddit looks like" / "Shadowban vs suspension vs removed post"
- Build: Short definition paragraph; a bulleted list of signs; a four-column comparison table (shadowban, suspension, subreddit ban, removed or filtered post) with rows for the notice you receive, what the profile shows logged out, who did it, and where to appeal; then a short paragraph for the "visible but invisible" case.
| # | Tail | Resolution | Coverage | Form | Words |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | what is a reddit shadowban | What it is, who applies it, that there is no notice | A shadowban is applied sitewide by Reddit's admins and anti-spam systems, not by subreddit moderators. The account keeps working from the inside: it can post, comment and vote and sees its own activity, while everything it submits is held as spam and invisible to everyone else. Reddit sends no message and shows no banner, which is why most people find out from a tool, a bot or a friend. It exists to stop spam accounts learning what gets caught. | Paragraph | 70 |
| 6 | signs of reddit shadowban | What it looks like from inside and outside | From the inside: comments never get replies and sit at one upvote, posts never appear in the subreddit's feed, nobody ever messages you back. From the outside: your profile returns a not-found page to logged-out visitors, and logged-in users who open it see no karma and a placeholder account age. Zero engagement on its own is a weak sign, since dull posts and small subreddits produce it too; the profile view is the sign that counts, and the checker above is that view. | List, then a closing line | 85 |
| 7 | shadowban vs suspension | Tell the states apart by what you see | Side by side: a shadowban gives no notice, hides the profile logged out, comes from Reddit's systems, and is appealed through Reddit's appeal form; a suspension comes with a message and a visible banner on the profile and is appealed through the same form; a subreddit ban comes as a modmail, affects only that subreddit, leaves the profile public, and is appealed by messaging that subreddit's mods, who can ban and remove within their community but cannot shadowban anyone sitewide; a removed or filtered post is a single item held by AutoMod, a karma or account-age rule, or the spam filter, shows on your profile but not in the subreddit, and is fixed by reading that subreddit's rules or messaging its mods. | Table, four columns | 110 |
| 8 | why are my reddit posts not showing | What hides posts when the account is clear, and how to confirm | If the result is visible but posts still vanish, the account isn't banned; the content is being filtered. The usual causes: a subreddit's AutoMod removing posts from accounts below its karma, age or quality threshold, the spam filter catching repeated links or link shorteners, or a mod removal. To confirm, open the post from your profile and look for a removal notice, compare the subreddit feed logged out with your profile, and check a removal-history viewer for a pattern. The fix is per subreddit: its rules, its mods, more comments than posts there. | Paragraph | 95 |
Section 3: Confirm the result yourself
- Job: Earn trust in the verdict by letting the reader reproduce it with Reddit's own surfaces, the way every ranking page teaches. Sits after the meaning and before the "now what", because nobody should appeal on one tool's word.
- Heading options: "Confirm it yourself: three manual shadowban checks" / "How to check if you are shadowbanned on Reddit without a tool" / "Why run more than one check"
- Build: Three numbered step blocks, each two to four short steps, each ending with how to read the outcome. A closing line on partial shadowbans. Link each to the relevant Reddit page.
| # | Tail | Resolution | Coverage | Form | Words |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 9 | check reddit profile logged out | Steps to view the profile as a stranger and read what appears | Open a private or incognito window (or log out), go to the profile URL for the username, and read the page: a profile with posts and comments means not shadowbanned; a not-found or "nobody goes by that name" page while you can still log in and post normally means shadowbanned; a suspension notice means suspended, not shadowbanned. Takes under a minute and needs no tool. | Steps | 60 |
| 10 | reddit appeals page account status | Use the appeal form as an official status check | Log in to the affected account and open Reddit's appeal page. If the account is in good standing, the form says there's nothing to appeal; if it is shadowbanned or suspended, the form lets you file. This is the closest thing to an official answer from Reddit, and it is also where the appeal in the next section is filed. | Steps | 55 |
| 11 | r/shadowban bot check | How to get the bot's status reply and what it covers | Post anything in r/ShadowBan from the account in question, or use the link the AutoModerator pins and press send; the bot replies with the account's sitewide status and whether recent posts are visible. It only works for an account you can log in to, which is why the username checker above exists for everyone else. | Steps | 55 |
| 12 | partial shadowban reddit | Understand that a profile can show while posts stay hidden, so one check can mislead | A shadowban isn't always all or nothing: some accounts keep a public profile while their new posts are hidden in the subreddits they post to. If the profile loads but the posts don't, run the bot check or read the checker's post-visibility line before deciding the account is fine. | Line | 45 |
Section 4: Shadowbanned? What to do
- Job: Resolve the positive result: appeal correctly, know how long and how likely, and decide between waiting and starting over without walking into a linked-account ban. This is where the page handles the objections the searcher arrived with and where the site's offer sits as plan B.
- Heading options: "How to remove a Reddit shadowban" / "How to appeal a Reddit shadowban" / "How long does a Reddit shadowban last?" / "Should you make a new account?" / "Does a shadowban affect your other accounts?"
- Build: An H2 with H3 question headings. Numbered appeal steps with a short note on what to write; three short paragraphs; the "new account" paragraph ends with an inline text link to the site's established accounts, written as the fallback it is, with one line on how the site checks them. No box, no banner.
| # | Tail | Resolution | Coverage | Form | Words |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13 | how to appeal a reddit shadowban | Where to appeal, what to write, what to expect | File once at Reddit's appeal form from the affected account: say plainly which rule you think was triggered, or that you don't know of one, and what you'll do differently; keep it short and calm, don't argue. Subreddit moderators can't lift a shadowban, so modmail wastes time; only the appeal form reaches the admins. Innocent accounts do get caught, often through a shared or previously abused IP, and saying so plainly is the right appeal. Don't keep posting from the account while it's under review, and don't file again every few days: repeat appeals have been read as evasion. | Steps, then a short paragraph | 110 |
| 14 | how long does a reddit shadowban last | Whether it expires, how long appeals take | A shadowban has no set length and does not expire on its own; it lasts until an appeal is granted, or indefinitely if it isn't. Appeal responses typically take weeks, not days, and many get no reply at all, so plan around the account being down for that window at minimum. | Paragraph | 55 |
| 15 | can you recover from a reddit shadowban | Realistic odds and what improves them | Recovery is possible and worth one well-written appeal, but it's closer to a coin flip than a process: odds are better for an account with real history and a plausible innocent cause (a VPN, a shared connection) than for one that posted links in bursts. Decide now how long you can afford to wait; if the account carries a campaign or an income, the honest answer is often to appeal and move on in parallel. | Paragraph | 70 |
| 16 | create new reddit account after shadowban | Whether and how a fresh start works without being linked to the banned account | A new account made in the same browser, on the same connection, with the same cookies is tied to the banned one and is usually shadowbanned within hours as evasion, which also hurts the appeal. A clean start needs a different network, a fresh browser profile, a verified email, and days of ordinary commenting before any link or promotion; a brand-new account also starts at the lowest trust tier. The alternative is an established account that already has age and comment history, which skips the warm-up and carries none of the banned account's signals; the ones we supply are run through this same checker before delivery, and you can run it yourself on arrival. | Paragraph with inline link | 110 |
| 17 | does a shadowban affect alt accounts reddit | Whether other accounts are affected and what links them | The ban is per account, but accounts that share an IP, a device or a logged-in browser are linked by Reddit's systems and can be swept in together, which is how one bad account takes several down. Check every alt with the tool above, and keep accounts separated by connection and browser profile from now on. | Paragraph | 60 |
Section 5: Why Reddit shadowbans accounts, and how to avoid it
- Job: Give the short "why" the searcher asks after a positive result, and the few habits that keep the current or next account out of trouble. Short, because the head's pages mostly link out for this.
- Heading options: "What causes a Reddit shadowban" / "Why do Reddit accounts get shadowbanned?" / "How to avoid a Reddit shadowban"
- Build: Two bulleted lists under two H3s. No sub-sections, no protocols, no numbers that promise outcomes.
| # | Tail | Resolution | Coverage | Form | Words |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 18 | what causes a reddit shadowban | The common triggers, in plain terms | Reddit's automated detection flags patterns, not opinions: a VPN or datacenter IP, or an IP that changes often or was used for spam before; several accounts on one connection or device; a new or empty account that gets a post or comment removed, even by AutoMod, which is why accounts get banned after one post; bursts of posts, or posts that all link to one domain; comments made only to drop links; deleting and reposting. Established accounts with real comment history survive these far better than new ones. | List | 100 |
| 19 | how to avoid reddit shadowban | The short list of habits that keep an account out of trouble | One account per connection, on a home or mobile IP, not a VPN; verify the email; comment more than you post and do it in communities you actually read before you promote anything; never post the same link in a burst; read a subreddit's rules before posting there; don't make or run alts from the same browser. Run the checker occasionally so a problem is caught the day it starts, not months later. | List | 80 |
Section 6: About this tool
- Job: The type's trust part: say what the tool is, what it does with the username, and why it's free, so the verdict can be relied on and the site is understood without being pitched. Closes the page.
- Heading options: "About this Reddit shadowban tester" / "Free, no login, any username"
- Build: A short paragraph, then a single line with two text links: run the check again, or view established Reddit accounts. Footer follows.
| # | Tail | Resolution | Coverage | Form | Words |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 | none: trust block for a tool page | The checker is free and unlimited, needs no login or token, reads only the public profile and stores nothing about the username or the person checking; it is the same check the site runs on every account before it is delivered, which is why it is public. | Paragraph | 55 | |
| 21 | none: close | One line: run another check, or, if the account can't be recovered in time, look at established accounts that pass this check on delivery. | Line with two links | 30 |
Shape: The page follows the tool lane's shape: form first, result vocabulary, a how-it-works line, a compact explanation underneath, the way cable.ayra.ch and the AI-overview-cited tool pages are built. It takes from the agency guides their three resolutions the tool lane lacks (the states table, the manual checks, the appeal and start-over decision) at FAQ depth, and from the operator threads the concerns to answer in a line (IP, new accounts, false positives, alts). It takes nothing from the guides' protocols, product tutorials or pitches.
Order: Verdict first, because that is the search. Meaning second, because a verdict without a frame is a word. Confirmation third, because a reader about to appeal needs to trust the result. Action fourth, because only a confirmed positive leads to an appeal or a replacement. Cause and prevention fifth, because "why" comes after "what now" for a person whose account is down. Trust last, where a reader deciding whether to act on the result or the offer looks for it.
Length: About 1,300 words. The ranking tool pages are a few dozen to a few hundred words and resolve only the verdict; the ranking guides run roughly 2,000 to 3,500 words and resolve the frame and the next step but not the verdict. This page resolves both in under half the guides' length.
Off the page:
- Adjacent: reddit shadowban (broader guide head; the definition tail is on the page); how to recover reddit account reach; reddit account warm up how long and how to warm up a reddit account to avoid shadowban (warm-up head; a candidate page for this site); does reddit ban brand accounts; reddit contributor quality score and its variants, how to improve it, reddit cqs comment karma nsfw, reddit values comments over posts (CQS/karma head); reddit account posting rules to avoid ban, reddit self promotion link spam rules, how often to post to avoid spam filter, reddit spam filter triggers, how to avoid reddit post removal, why does reddit limit my account (post-removal and promotion-rules heads); build reddit karma; how to manage multiple reddit accounts safely, how many reddit accounts can you have on one device, reddit browser fingerprint ban multiple accounts (multi-account head; the strongest adjacent page for a site selling accounts); can i use a vpn for reddit; how to get around a reddit shadowban (evasion; the page gives the honest route); am i shadowbanned (platform-agnostic). Each is a page of its own; on this page they would pull the centroid toward heads it cannot win and bloat a tool page into a guide.
- Excluded: snoopsnoo (dead tool name); Chameleon Mode tutorial tails (create browser profile, generate fingerprint, set up new identity); OnlyFans promotion and agency-vetting tails; API and API-subscription tails (Apify's and AyrA's head); all Quora, Instagram, Facebook/Twitter and generic "shadowban" tails; rants, opinions, anecdotes, forum caveats, related-question lists and r/NewToReddit pointers. Noise or far heads.
